While facing the Russians, EFH European Cup big favorites, Besançon will have a lot to do. On the first leg, against a 100% Russian ultra strong workforce, ESBF’s girls bent 30 to 22. To achieve the third stage of EHF Cup, they have to score at least 9 more goals than their opponent, on their own playing field, this Saturday.

Lada Togliatti is a 2nd russian feminine division club. They won the EHF Cup in 2012 and 2014. The club is in great shape : they made a perfect season start in championship with 9 victories for 9 games. They suffered only one defeat this year on Russia’s Cup.
The Russian club is located in Togliatti, important center of Russian car industry. For almost 50 years, Togliatti’s car factory produced the famous Lada car.
