New international sales and acquisition of Season 4

Bright Minds, a crime series produced by JLA Productions, has been arousing public interest in France since 2019. Aired on France 2, Seasons 1 and 2 have attracted 4.6 and 52. million viewers on average, respectively. The launch of Season 3 has confirmed its success. Currently airing on France 2, the show is still beating audience records: more than 5 million viewers, representing 28.6% of audience share.

Sale of Season 1 to Japan’s NHK

France tv distribution is proud to announce the sale of the Bright Minds series to Japan’s public television channel, NHK. The show has been aired linearly and in replay since July 24, 2022.

Several international sales

Besides its airing on AXN Mystery Channel and this new Japanese purchase for NHK, this series is still traveling the world.

The show has been bought in Europe by Cosmo TV and Atresmedia (Spain), Discovery Italy (Italy), RSI (Italian-speaking Switzerland) and VRT (Flanders). This fiction has also been exported to the UK and Ireland, Russia and CIS, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, on Walter Presents. It’s also been sold to FOX in Portugal (and Portuguese-speaking Africa), LRT in Lithuania and NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-To-Consumer for 13 Ulica in Poland and DIVA in Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. The Salto streaming service is currently airing the show in France.

The American continent has not been left behind by any means: the show has been purchased by Walter Presents, in the US, AMI-télé in Canada and AXN Channel in LATAM.

Last but not least, the female tag team has also made it all the way to Australia, where it will be broadcast on Walter Presents.

Acquisition of Season 4

France tv distribution is delighted to announce that it has purchased Season 4, the shooting of which is currently underway.

When Commander Raphaëlle Coste visits the police records bureau in search of information for one of her enquiries, she has no idea that she is about to have a life-changing encounter. The brilliant but unsettling young Astrid is autistic and a living encyclopedia of criminal investigations. She has Asperger’s, which makes her very original and rather finicky in some situations. When she gives Raphaëlle a helping hand, the two realize that their perfectly complementary skills are the key to solving cases, despite or even because of their differences.
