The limited series VORTEX will soon be broadcast worldwide thanks to an agreement between France tv distribution and Netflix

VORTEX, the event drama-fantasy series and recently aired on France 2, will be available on NETFLIX in 190 countries starting June 2nd 2023.

Produced by Quad Drama, the mini-series, using for the first time in France the virtual production technology, will be available worldwide thanks to the agreement between NETFLIX and France tv distribution.

The first two episodes of VORTEX, broadcast on France 2, were watched by 4.3 million viewers with an audience share of 21.3%, giving the channel its best score in this slot since September.

Scenario: It’s the year 2025. Ludovic is the police captain for the French city of Brest. Twenty-seven years prior, he lost the love of his life, Mélanie, in what looked like a tragic mundane accident. 

But while studying a reconstructed VR crime scene, he stumbles upon a time warp that turns his life upside down: thanks to a glitch, he’s able to communicate with Mélanie, just a few days before her death, in 1998. Moving heaven and earth to try and save her from her tragic fate by stopping her murderer, Ludovic is in danger of losing his own life in the present along with his wife Parvana and their son Sam.
