Shooting on October 2 in Morocco

France Télévisions announce a new prebuy within the EBU community, The boy that never was, a story of two parents who believe their son has been killed during an earthquake in Morocco, until a number of years later when a sighting of a young boy in Dublin leads to a race to discover the truth. This psychological thriller is based on the novel by Karen Perry and has been adapted by Jo Spain and David Logan. It is produced by Subotica Films and directed by Hannah Quinn, and has been commissioned by RTÉ with ABACUS as distribution partners.
