Kings for a Day
A new movie in francetv distribution’s line-up
francetv distribution is delighted to be working with Moteur s’il vous plaît and Fin Août productions on the international distribution of the motion picture Kings for a Day (original French title: Comme des rois).
Directed by Xabi Molia and coproduced by France 3 Cinéma, Kings for a Day tells the story of Joseph, a man who drags his son Micka into his little door-to-door business of petty scams. Struggling to stay afloat, Joseph now needs his son more than ever… but Micka is secretly dreaming of another life far from the world of grifting … and a long way from his father.
Kad Merad stars in the feature movie, together with by Kacey Mottet Klein, Sylvie Testud and Tiphaine Daviot.
The movie is currently at the editing stage. Theater release is scheduled for 2018.
After The Red Collar, directed by Jean Becker, this movie is a further addition to francetv distribution’s line-up and will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival.
