France tv distribution is delighted to announce the launching of the international distribution of A NIGHT TO LIVE produced by Wanda Productions.

Distributed worldwide by France tv distribution, A NIGHT TO LIVE will be launched at the Unifrance Rendez-Vous, which will take place from September 2 to 6, 2024 in Le Havre.

The series has just been selected for the Festival de la Fiction, which will take place in La Rochelle, in the “French Competition - 26-minute series” category.

Synopsis

Two teenage strangers, Mina and Ocean, wind up on the same Parisian roof, the same night, with the same urge to jump to their death.

This uncanny coincidence stops them both in their tracks: no matter how hard they try to ignore, or even reject, each other, determined to push through with their respective morbid plans, they find themselves with an undeniable connection - through their distress and their shared desire to end their lives, but also through their sudden fear of losing each other... Aside from the fact that they’ve both decided this is their last night on Earth, these two young people have very little in common.

On the one hand, there’s Mina, a working-class girl from Paris’ Belleville district, who is running from herself but is way more fearless than she admits; on the other, there’s Ocean, a high society kid with a big mouth and bruised heart. Unable to go through with their respective plans right away, they decide to make a deal: this night belongs to them; they’ll give life a chance, one last time, but if at dawn they still feel death is their only way out, they’ll both jump off, together.

Will this night spent “on the ledge” cure our two heroes of their suicidal urge? They’re not afraid to die; but the question is, will they be able to regain the courage to live?
