INTERNATIONAL DRAMA DISTRIBUTION
For several years, the sales of French TV programs abroad have been reaching new records. This growth is particularly maintained by drama. With a line-up including successes such as "Captain Marleau" and "Criminal Games", France tv distribution is proud to be part of the influence of French drama outside our borders. A few months ago the last edition of MIPTV took place in Cannes. Now is the occasion for France tv distribution to make an assessment of its line-up of successes.

The sale of the TV show, Le Chalet, launched at last MIPCOM, produced by Dajma (6x52') for France 2, exclusively to Netflix, reflects the new trends of the marke. The drama is available around the world on the plateform.

Others are being exported to the American continent! Three dramas from France tv distribution line-up reached the United States.
The France 2 drama, Chefs, produced by CALT Production, arrived in the United States after having seduced about fifty countries including Switzerland, Portugal and Taïwan.
The series Captain Marleau, produced by Passion Films and Bel Ombre Films for France 3, outshines the rankings of the 2017 most followed French TV shows and just beat its historical record with 7.2 million viewers a few weeks ago. Internationally, the series provoked a real interest from buyers. It has been sold in key territories, in addition to the United States, to China and to French Canada.
The big success internationally, Criminal Games, produced by Escazal Films for France 2, is already present in 80 countries. It has also just been exported to Italy.

Meanwhile, others reinforce their presence in Europe!
Before discovering the third season with even more a 4-star cast, the season 2 of Call my agent!, produced by Mon Voisin Productions/Mother Production, has been sold to Germany. The series has already been broadcast in 60 countries and was sold to Canada.
The first four seasons of Captain Sharif, produced by MakingProd, were a complete success on France 2. Season 5 was recently broadcasted. It confirmed the previous good scores with 4.1 million viewers on average. The drama was sold in Spain and in Italy after having won Francophone Europe.
Present on all the continents, the collection of France 3, Murder in, was acquired by Spain as well as the Unites States. Several episodes of the collection were also sold to Italy.

France tv distribution is proud to stimulate original creation and to contribute to the influence of French drama, which is ever more qualitative and ambitious.
The upcoming MIPCOM will be the occasion to launch more new and daring projects such as Kepler(s), produced by EVS Production, selected at 2018 Séries Mania Festival, and season 3 of Call my agent!, which should air on France 2 by the end of the year.
These latest launches promise to once again attract many buyers.
