France tv distribution is delighted to announce the launching of the international distribution of GLENN GOULD LOVERS (working title), a film by Andy Sommer, starring Jack Farthing (Poldark, The Riot Club, Spencer, The Lost Daughter), Sophie Mousel, David Kross and Jonathan Zaccaï.
Distributed worldwide by France tv distribution, GLENN GOULD LOVERS is being launched at the Festival de Cannes, taking place from May 12 to 23, 2026.

Synopsis
Inspired by the love life of the famous Canadian pianist Glenn Gould
In 1969, at the peak of his career, Glenn Gould, the world renowned and fiercely unconventional Canadian pianist, makes the radical decision to abandon the stage.
Retreating from public life, he seeks refuge in the controlled intimacy of the recording studios, where he believes true perfection can be achieved. But as Glenn begins this new chapter, he encounters the photographer Eleanor, enigmatic, intelligent, and deeply attuned to his inner world. Their connection is immediate and overwhelming. But Eleanor is married to Georg, a gifted composer and Glenn’s closest friend. While Glenn immerses himself in recording Georg’s sonata, the boundaries between music and emotion begin to blur. What starts as artistic collaboration evolves into a perilous emotional entanglement.
In choosing art over convention, and passion over loyalty, Glenn sets in motion a chain of consequences that will irreversibly alter their live, and redefine the limits of creation.
