SEMI-FINALS ON CULTUREBOX: May 18 and 20
FINAL on Saturday May 22 at 9 pm.
"Eurovision is very important to me because I have multiple origins. Eurovision is the crossroads of world music. It's all these countries that come together for one evening, where each one comes to defend its culture, its voice, its heritage.
its culture, its voice, its heritage. "
Barbara Pravi
On Saturday, January 30, 2021, Barbara Pravi, 28 years old, 1 meter 59 of talent and authenticity, won the very first edition of Eurovision France, it's you who decide. It is her, this "girl with black eyes and a crazy dream", who was elected by the French public in front of nearly 3 million viewers, a real success for this first season.
Sincere and inspiring, Barbara will make the French language shine with beauty and intensity throughout Europe on May 22 during the Eurovision final with her song "Voilà". This date is more than expected, as it marks the return of this great entertainment after its cancellation in 2020.
Following the victory of Duncan Laurence, candidate of the Netherlands in 2019, this 65th edition takes place in Rotterdam, at the Ahoy Arena, in front of 3 500 spectators.
France 2 and Culturebox have joined forces to broadcast the entire contest presented by our ambassadors, Laurence Boccolini and Stephane Bern.
From 10 May, we will be able to experience Eurovision thanks to the unfailing mobilization of France Télévisions: short programmes every evening at 8.40 pm, a special edition at 8.30 pm on Saturdays behind the scenes of Eurovision, a documentary-event on Barbara Pravi....
Because more than ever we need to unite around the notions of show, song and text, union and Europe, because we believe strongly in the talent of Barbara.
"I am so in love with my language, so in love with our French melodies, so proud of my culture; I know that I will defend France body and soul, with all that I can, with all my being,
all my voice, all my heart. That's what my song is about, by the way:
"It's not much, but me everything I have, I put it there."

health measures
An incredible amount of work has been done by the Dutch production team and the EBU to ensure that the competition can take place under normal conditions for the viewers, but adapted to the health situation for those who will be attending. The Dutch government has given the green light to allow 3,500 spectators to watch the show in the stands with a strict sanitary protocol. In the same way, for all the participants, delegations and journalists on site, a reinforced sanitary protocol has been put in place.
An incredible amount of work is being done by the Dutch teams to ensure that the show goes on, and France Télévisions is doing its utmost to honour Eurovision on all our channels.
